Netnod recognised for world-leading time services by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences

Stockholm, Sweden - 23 October - Netnod today received the most positive of endorsements for its time and frequency work. In a speech given by Tuula Teeri, the President of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), Netnod’s time services were described as one of the best in the world. Teeri praised Nenod as a star watchmaker (“stjärnurmakare”) and mentioned Netnod’s leading role in developing and implementing the new Network Time Security (NTS) standard.

Teeri’s speech was part of IVA’s annual gathering (“Högtidssammankomst”) which celebrates the most significant technological developments in Sweden. This year it was a virtual event, and you can see the event here.
